PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to control rotational speeds of an engine and a MG to rotational speeds with engine ideal fuel consumption, promptly without causing a driver to feel discomfort at a time of switching an EV mode to an HV mode.SOLUTION: In an EV mode, a rotational speed of a MG 12 is controlled to a rotational speed with MG-TM ideal efficiency. In an HV mode, rotational speeds of an engine 11 and the MG 12 are controlled to rotational speeds with engine ideal fuel consumption. At a time of switching the EV mode to the HV mode, a start control to start the engine 11 is started when an engine start request is issued, and a shift control to control a transmission 13 to change the rotational speed of the MG 12 to the rotational speed with the engine ideal fuel consumption is started simultaneously with the start of this start control. Furthermore, an engine-rotational-speed F/B control to control the engine 11 so that the rotational speed of the engine 11 matches the rotational speed with the engine ideal fuel consumption is executed and a clutch 17 is used for a control to regulate driving forces of the engine 11 and the MG 12, respectively at a time of determining whether engine start is completed.

    【課題】EVモードからHVモードに切り換える際にエンジン及びMGの回転速度を速やかにかつドライバーに違和感なくエンジン理想燃費回転速度に制御できるようにする。【解決手段】EVモードではMG12の回転速度をMG−TM理想効率回転速度に制御し、HVモードではエンジン11及びMG12の回転速度をエンジン理想燃費回転速度に制御する。EVモードからHVモードに切り換える際には、エンジン始動要求発生時にエンジン11を始動する始動制御を開始し、この始動制御の開始と同時にMG回転速度をエンジン理想燃費回転速度へ変化させるように変速機13を制御する変速制御を開始する。更に、エンジン始動完了判定時にエンジン回転速度をエンジン理想燃費回転速度に一致させるようにエンジン11を制御するエンジン回転速度F/B制御を実行すると共にエンジン11とMG12それぞれの駆動力の調整をクラッチ17で制御する。【選択図】図1
