PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately regulate operation of onboard electronic equipment by accurately identifying an operator of the onboard electronic equipment.SOLUTION: An operation regulation unit of onboard electronic equipment includes operating means that is disposed in a compartment of a vehicle and makes it possible to perform an entry maneuver for information, control means that controls an entry function of the operating means, vehicle speed detection means that detects the speed of the vehicle, plural contact sensors that are disposed on the entire periphery of a steering wheel, and a rotation sensor that detects at least the azimuth of a buckle of a seat belt at a driver's seat. If the vehicle speed detection means detects that the vehicle is traveling, a contact reaction disappears from the contact sensors located in an area on the side of a passenger seat with the center of the steering wheel as a border, and the azimuth of the buckle detected by the rotation sensor is rotationally changed toward the front side of the vehicle from a predefined stereotactic position, the control means regulates part of the entry maneuver.

    【課題】車載電子機器の操作者をより正確に特定し、車載電子機器の操作を適切に規制する。【解決手段】車両の室内に設置され情報の入力操作が可能な操作手段と、前記操作手段の入力機能を制御する制御手段と、車両の速度を検出する車速検出手段と、ステアリングの全周に設けられた複数の接触センサと、少なくとも運転席のシートベルトのバックルの方位を検出する回転センサとを備え、前記制御手段は、前記車速検出手段によって車両が走行中であることが検出され、前記ステアリングの中央を境にして助手席側領域の前記接触センサから接触反応が消失し、且つ、前記回転センサにより検出されたバックルの方位が予め設定された定位から車両の前方側へ回転変化した場合に前記入力操作の一部を規制する車載電子機器の操作規制装置とした。【選択図】図1
