PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily detect a short circuit between two terminals in circuitry that includes a microcomputer, which drives or controls onboard equipment, and a signal output circuit that outputs a driving signal to the onboard equipment according to a control signal.SOLUTION: A signal output circuit 2 of an onboard equipment control unit 7 includes a NOT gate 6 that outputs an inverted signal of a control signal, which is inputted from a microcomputer 1 via an input terminal S_IN, to the microcomputer 1 via an output terminal S_OUT1, and that has its driving ability set to be lower than the driving ability of a driver of the microcomputer 1 which outputs the control signal. When a signal inputted from the signal output circuit 2 becomes in phase with the control signal, the microcomputer 1 detects a short circuit between the input terminal S_IN and output terminal S_OUT1.

    【課題】車載機器を駆動制御するためのマイコンと、制御信号に応じて車載機器に駆動信号を出力する信号出力回路とを備える構成について、2つの端子の短絡を容易に検出する。【解決手段】車載機器制御装置7の信号出力回路2は、マイコン1より入力端子S_INを介して入力される制御信号の反転信号を、出力端子をS_OUT1介してマイコン1に出力すると共に、制御信号を出力するマイコン1側のドライバ部よりも駆動能力が低く設定されているNOTゲート6を備える。マイコン1は、信号出力回路2より入力される信号が制御信号と同相の信号になると入力端子S_INと出力端子S_OUT1との短絡を検出する。【選択図】図1
