PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase air resistance at a sudden braking operation when running at high seed.SOLUTION: An emergency-braking device is provided that includes: vehicle speed detection means for detecting a vehicle running speed; braking-speed detection means for detecting an operation speed of a braking operations; power window means for raising and lowering a window 4 with an actuator; and control means which receives as input, information of the vehicle speed detection means and that of the braking-speed detection means and causes the window 4 to lower by causing the power window means to operate when determining that the operation speed of a braking operation exceeds a given speed when the running speed of the vehicle exceeds a given vehicle speed. At a sudden braking operation when running at high speed, the window 4 is forcibly opened by lowering it to increase travel resistance of the vehicle 1 by generating disturbance in air flow to facilitate shortening of a braking distance at the sudden braking operation when running at high speed.

    【課題】高速走行時の急ブレーキ操作時に空気抵抗を増加させる。【解決手段】車両の走行速度を検出する車速検出手段と、制動操作の操作速度を検出する制動速度検出手段と、アクチュエータによりウインドウ4を昇降させるパワーウインドウ手段と、車速検出手段の情報、制動速度検出手段の情報が入力され、車両の前記走行速度が所定車速を超えている時に制動操作の操作速度が所定速度を超えたと判断された際に、パワーウインドウ手段を作動させてウインドウ4を下降させる。高速走行時の急ブレーキ操作時には、ウインドウ4を下降させて強制的に開き、気流の乱れを生じさせて車両1の走行抵抗を高くし、高速走行時の急ブレーキ操作時に制動距離の短縮化を促進する。【選択図】図1
