[Problem] To provide: a rubber material for tires which achieves an excellent balance among wear resistance, low fuel consumption and wet grip performance; a master batch and a rubber composition for tires, each of which is suitable for the production of the rubber material for tires; a method for producing the master batch; a method for producing the rubber composition for tires; and a tire which comprises a tire member that is formed of the rubber material for tires. [Solution] A rubber material for tires, the rubber material containing 5 parts by mass to 90 parts by mass of a hydrophilic fumed silica and 1.5 parts by mass to 30 parts by mass of a silane coupling agent relative to 100 parts by mass of the total rubber content that is composed of at least one rubber selected from the group consisting of natural rubbers and synthetic rubbers, wherein the stress at 100% elongation (M100 (MPa)), the tensile strength at break (TB (MPa)) and the tensile elongation at break (EB (%)) of the rubber material for tires satisfy the relational expression described below.4,000≤TB×EB/M100≤13,000
