As an driver assistance system that supports operation of a train in order to use regenerative power generated by a traveling deceleration-side train as power for driving the power-running-side train without causing a delay in the power-running-side train departing from a station, the driver assistance system includes: a first on-board device mounted on at least one stopping train; a second on-board device mounted on at least one traveling train; and a ground-side device that communicates information with the first on-board device and the second on-board device via a transmission line. The ground-side device generates a deceleration pattern of the traveling train based on power running start information of the stopping train obtained from at least reception information from the first on-board device, and transmits the deceleration pattern to the second on-board device.
