The aircraft propulsion system structure (22) includes an exterior surface (90), an internal cavity (86) and a susceptor (92) thermally coupled to the exterior skin (90) and within the internal cavity (86). The microwave system (94) is configured to direct microwaves (108) to the susceptor (92) for melting and/or preventing ice accumulation on the exterior surface (90).
