A vehicular energy absorption structure (S) including a tube shaped energy absorption body (14A) made from a fiber reinforced resin, an opposing face (20) that is provided facing an axial direction end portion of the energy absorption body (14A), and that during a vehicle collision crushes the energy absorption body from the axial direction end portion, and a guide section (22, 26) that projects out from the opposing face (20) and that is disposed in an interior of the energy absorption body (14). The guide section includes an abutting section that is provided so as to be capable of contacting a wall (14B, 14I, 140, 14T) forming the energy absorption body (14A) from the inner side during a vehicle collision, and is separated from the opposing face (20) by an opening in the axial direction of the energy absorption body.
