The invention relates, inter alia, to a system having at least one rectifier. According to the invention, the rectifier is a three-phase rectifier having: - three alternating-voltage rectifier terminals, hereinafter called AC rectifier terminals, for connection to a three-phase grid (12), - a first direct-voltage terminal, hereinafter called "DC+" terminal, and - a second direct-voltage terminal, hereinafter called "DC-" terminal, and the rectifier comprises three power semiconductor branches which are each based on a 3-level topology, each of the three power semiconductor branches having: - a branch-dedicated alternating-voltage terminal, hereinafter called AC terminal, which is connected to one of the three AC rectifier terminals of the rectifier, - a branch-dedicated first terminal, hereinafter called branch-dedicated "DC+" terminal, - a branch-dedicated second terminal, hereinafter called branch-dedicated "DC-" terminal, and - a branch-dedicated third terminal, hereinafter called branch-dedicated "DCN" terminal, the branch-dedicated "DC+" terminals of the three power semiconductor branches being connected to the "DC+" terminal of the rectifier, and the branch-dedicated "DC-" terminals of the three power semiconductor branches being connected to the "DC-" terminal of the rectifier, the three-phase rectifier having a neutral conductor terminal which is designed to be connected to a neutral conductor of the three-phase grid (12), and the branch-dedicated "DCN" terminals being directly or at least indirectly electrically connected to the neutral conductor terminal of the three-phase rectifier.
