As a maintenance terminal held by an operator when a maintenance operation is performed on an elevator provided with a car, the maintenance terminal comprises: a position determination unit (501) that receives an operation signal or a sensor signal for determining a position and determines a current position; a movement signal generation unit (502) that generates a movement signal of the car on the basis of an instruction to raise or lower the car by the operation of an operator; a wireless communication unit that wirelessly transmits the movement signal generated by the movement signal generation unit (502) to a control device provided in the car; and a transmission availability determination unit (503) that determines, on the basis of the position determined by the position determination unit (501), whether or not the movement signal generated by the movement signal generation unit (502) can be wirelessly transmitted by the wireless communication unit.
