The invention discloses a thin plate segmented construction method which comprises the steps that S1, a jig frame is manufactured, jig frame braces are fixedly arranged on the side faces of the top ends of part of jig frame stand columns, and the top ends of the jig frame braces and the top ends of the jig frame stand columns are located on the same horizontal plane; s2, the segmented main deck is hoisted to a jig frame, and the main deck is assembled and welded; s3, hoisting the enclosure bulkhead to a main deck on the jig frame, and assembling and welding the enclosure bulkhead to the main deck; s4, fire work back burning is conducted on the enclosure bulkhead; and S5, the thin plate sections are placed on the lengthened portal. According to the building method, the possibility of deformation of the thin plate can be reduced in each step, so that the fire work is reduced, the workload of workers is reduced, the production efficiency is also improved, and the ship production period is shortened.
