The invention relates to a torque control method of a drive motor during a shift. The method comprises the steps that in the torque reduction stage of the gear shifting period, multiple torque reduction instructions are sent to a driving motor controller, the multiple torque reduction instructions have different torque reduction step lengths, the torque reduction slope is gradually increased in the initial time period of the torque reduction stage, and the torque reduction slope is gradually reduced in the end time period of the torque reduction stage.
