The invention discloses a spherical robot and a control method thereof.The spherical robot comprises a main control module, a wireless communication module and a hub, and the wireless communication module comprises a first wireless antenna and a second wireless antenna; the wireless communication module is set to determine a relative angle between the transmitting equipment of the wireless signal and the spherical robot according to a first time when the first wireless antenna receives the wireless signal and a second time when the second wireless antenna receives the wireless signal; and the main control module is set to control the wheel hub to rotate according to the relative angle, so that the spherical robot moves towards the launching equipment.
