The invention relates to a vehicle control device, and provides a technology capable of effectively monitoring and applying automatic driving control using a machine learning model. The control device includes one or more processors that perform automatic driving control of a vehicle using a machine learning model. The vehicle is configured to be able to be driven by an operator, and the one or more processors are further configured to perform: a process of calculating a reliability related to an inferred result of the machine learning model during execution of the automatic driving control; a process for notifying an operator to urge confirmation of the driving environment of the vehicle when a predetermined first condition indicating that the reliability is reduced is satisfied; and a process of requesting a notification of not releasing the hand to the operator when a predetermined second condition indicating that the reliability is reduced is satisfied in addition to the first condition.
