The invention relates to an anti-pinch method for an electric seat of an automobile, which comprises the following steps of: 1, acquiring information, including working current, working voltage and movement direction, of a driving motor; 2, adaptively adjusting a motor weight coefficient w according to the travel of the seat driving motor, and calculating a voltage compensation coefficient lambda according to the power supply working voltage of the driving motor; 3, calculating an anti-pinch value M at the current sampling moment; 4, according to the movement direction of the driving motor, comparing the anti-pinch value M with a pressure threshold value F in the folding direction or the unfolding direction, and if M is larger than r * F, starting anti-pinch; otherwise, the driving motor keeps working normally; and 5, after the anti-pinch device is started, the driving motor stops moving in the current direction until the motion in the reverse direction is executed, the anti-pinch device is relieved, and normal work is recovered. According to the method, when the seat ECU controls the motor to work, anti-pinch control is carried out by collecting relevant parameters in the movement process of the motor, and installation of an additional pressure sensor or a detection module is avoided.
