The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a comfort level adjusting value and a control degree adjusting value input by a user through a user interface; target minimum damping force is determined according to the comfort degree adjusting value, and the semi-active suspension system is controlled to have the target minimum damping force; and determining target suspension rigidity according to the control degree adjusting value, and controlling the semi-active suspension system to have the target suspension rigidity. A user inputs the comfort degree adjusting value and the control degree adjusting value through the user interface, so that the comfort degree performance and the control degree performance of the semi-active suspension system can be adjusted in a user-defined mode according to the requirements of the user, the requirements of the user for the semi-active suspension system can be better met, and the satisfaction degree of the user is improved; in addition, by adjusting the minimum damping force and the suspension rigidity of the semi-active suspension, the damping performance of the semi-active suspension can be integrally and comprehensively adjusted, and a user-defined driving mode required by a user is provided.
