The invention relates to a mounting and debugging method for a high-elasticity coupling, comprising a ship shafting which comprises a propeller shaft, an intermediate shaft module and an output shaft of a propulsion motor which are connected in sequence, and the method comprises the following steps: centering and correcting the propeller shaft and an intermediate shaft, so that the propeller shaft and the intermediate shaft are positioned on the same horizontal line; a debugging shaft body is installed between the intermediate shaft and the output shaft of the propulsion motor; centering correction is conducted on the debugging shaft body, the middle shaft and the output shaft of the propulsion motor, so that the debugging shaft body, the middle shaft and the output shaft of the propulsion motor are all located on the same horizontal line; and the debugging shaft body is taken out from the position between the middle shaft and the output shaft of the propulsion motor, and the high-elasticity coupler is installed between the middle shaft and the output shaft of the propulsion motor. According to the scheme, when shafting centering is carried out, the centering deviation in all directions is within the allowable difference value range, the shafting centering efficiency is improved, and the problem that centering is difficult in the installation process of the high-elasticity coupler of the ship electric propulsion device is solved.
