The invention relates to the technical field of deformation robots, in particular to a crawling robot capable of actively deforming and self-recovering, comprising: a robot main body comprising a head part and a tail part which are made of a flexible material, and the head part and the tail part enclose to form a telescopic sleeve structure with a cavity; the driving structure can heat the gas in the cavity of the telescopic sleeve structure, and the heated and expanded gas drives the telescopic sleeve structure to extend; the elastic connecting part is used for elastically connecting the head part and the tail part and is used for providing pulling force between the head part and the tail part; the memory deformation part comprises a shape memory alloy material, the memory deformation part is arranged on the robot main body, when the memory deformation part is heated to deform to a preset shape, the robot main body is extruded to deform, and after the memory deformation part is cooled, the robot main body is released and recovered to the original shape. The invention discloses a crawling robot capable of actively deforming and self-recovering, and aims to provide a robot which is light in structure, convenient to control and high in moving speed.
