The invention relates to a user interface for driver condition perception. Techniques and systems are provided for driver condition aware user interface (UI). An exemplary UI may output information to give the driver a greater knowledge of a potential collision threat without using frequent or erroneous alerts to disturb or reduce the driver's sensitivity. Unlike outputting a strong alert to cause an emergency driver response, the UI generates a fine warning indicator presented as a UI element showing a marker of each possible threat relative to the vehicle path. Each object reported in the UI element indicates the information as a subtle cue that is weaker than the signal output of a forward collision or other emergency alert. This micronization in the information presented in the UI is effective when notifying the driver without causing the driver to feel frightened or distracted. The driver who may be dangerous can drive more clearly and more confidently, and does not need to worry about hidden threats in the view of the driver.
