The invention discloses an air-drop profile buoy which comprises a parachute pack device, a buoy body, a bandage assembly, a mounting base and a release device. The parachute pack device is located at the upper end of the buoy body; the mounting base is positioned at the lower end of the buoy body; the bandage assemblies are located on the two sides of the buoy body, one end of each bandage assembly is fixedly connected with the parachute pack device, and the other end of each bandage assembly extends to the mounting base and is fixedly connected with a release device; the releasing device is fixedly connected with the mounting base and used for converting electric energy into heat energy to release the bandage assembly after making contact with a water body. After the releasing device makes contact with a water body, a circuit is switched on, heat is generated, accordingly, the bandage assembly is released, the parachute pack device and the mounting base can be separated from the buoy body, the structure is simple, use and maintenance are convenient, and the manufacturing and using cost is reduced.
