The automatic profile buoy comprises a pressure-resistant cabin, a water soaking cabin, a control unit, an energy unit, a communication unit and a buoyancy driving unit, the pressure-resistant cabin comprises a pressure-resistant shell, an upper end cover, a lower end cover and a tensioning rod, and the upper end cover and the lower end cover are arranged at the two ends of the pressure-resistant shell in a matched mode respectively; the tensioning rod is arranged in the pressure-resistant shell, one end of the tensioning rod is connected with the upper end cover, the other end of the tensioning rod is connected with the lower end cover, a negative pressure environment is formed in the pressure-resistant cabin, the communication unit is installed at the position close to the upper end cover, and a main body of the buoyancy driving unit is installed at the position close to the lower end cover. The energy unit is mounted in the middle of the pressure-resistant cabin; the upper end cover and the lower end cover are tensioned at the two ends of the pressure-resistant shell through the tensioning rods in a negative pressure pumping mode, the connecting structure is simple and reliable, and modular arrangement is adopted, so that the buoy is small in size, light in weight and convenient to lay, recycle, produce and maintain.
