The invention relates to a multi-layer flexible composite spacecraft thermal control assembly and a preparation method thereof. The thermal control assembly comprises N layers of metal-plated flexible high-reflection polymer materials, N-1 layers of polyester nets and VO2 flexible films. A spacecraft structure faces outwards, a first layer of metal-plated flexible high-reflection polymer material, a first layer of polyester net, a second layer of metal-plated flexible high-reflection polymer material and a second layer of polyester net are sequentially arranged in an alternating mode till an (N-1) th layer of metal-plated flexible high-reflection polymer material and an (N-1) th layer of polyester net, finally an Nth layer of metal-plated flexible high-reflection polymer material is arranged, and a third layer of metal-plated flexible high-reflection polymer material is arranged. The Nth metal layer plated with the metal flexible high-reflection polymer material is located on the outermost side, and the other side of the metal layer is plated with a VO2 flexible thin film.
