The method comprises the following steps: acquiring basic data of a vehicle and image data in front of the vehicle, and judging an obstacle type of an obstacle in the image data; determining first size information of the road passing window according to different obstacle types in combination with the image data and the basic data, and determining the area of the road passing window based on the first size information; determining second size information of a theoretical passing window of the vehicle based on the basic data, and determining an area of the theoretical passing window based on the second size information; under the condition that the area of the theoretical passing window is smaller than or equal to the area of the road passing window, the air suspension is adaptively adjusted by combining the first size information and the second size information, and the height of the air suspension can be automatically adjusted when a high obstacle appears in front of a road or a high obstacle appears on the road surface; the car roof or the chassis is prevented from being collided, and the driving experience is improved.
