The invention relates to the technical field of ship equipment, and discloses a manufacturing and mounting method of an FPSO module buttress based on precise positioning and machining amount optimization. The manufacturing and mounting method comprises the steps that the module buttress is manufactured; reserving a benchmark; performing segmented reference line returning; carrying lineation construction, and completing segmented painting; carrying and positioning module buttresses; module buttress horizontal adjustment and allowance lineation cutting are carried out; measuring and welding before welding; checking a lower opening gap before welding; collecting post-welding data; correcting the center line of the module buttress and machining and calculating the base plate; according to the manufacturing and mounting method, the manufacturing precision of the buttress can be improved, the cost is reduced, the construction period is shortened, the quality and mounting efficiency of the whole project are improved, the high-efficiency and precise requirements of modern ocean engineering can be met, the manufacturing planeness of the module buttress is guaranteed by splitting the construction process, and the construction efficiency is improved. And the accuracy and precision control of the mounting position are ensured by using technical means such as segmented reference line returning and carrying line drawing construction.
