The invention discloses a beetle-imitating foldable flapping-wing flying robot which comprises a fuselage, an empennage, a flapping-wing driving device and two sets of wing mechanisms located on the two sides of the fuselage correspondingly, the empennage is arranged at one end of the fuselage, the flapping-wing driving device is arranged at the other end of the fuselage, and the two sets of wing mechanisms are connected with the flapping-wing driving device correspondingly. The flapping wing driving device is used for driving the two groups of wing mechanisms to do flapping wing motion and driving the beetle-imitating foldable flapping wing flying robot to fly; a first steering engine of each wing mechanism is fixedly connected with a flapping wing driving device, the first end of a first swing rod is fixedly connected with a rotating shaft of the first steering engine, a second steering engine is arranged in the middle of the first swing rod, and a rocker arm of the second steering engine is fixedly connected with the first end of the second swing rod through a connecting shaft. The second end of the second swing rod is rotationally connected with the wing frame through a first rotating shaft, the two ends of the third swing rod are rotationally connected with the second end of the first swing rod and the wing frame respectively, and the second swing rod and the third swing rod are arranged in parallel.
