The invention discloses a folding type end plate propeller suitable for an underwater glider, which comprises an umbrella-shaped folding type propeller hub mechanism, a stepping type pitch angle adjusting mechanism and novel end plate propeller blades, and realizes the unfolding of the propeller in the observation and monitoring process so as to control the posture of the underwater glider. In the normal gliding process, the folding is realized, so that the fluid resistance is reduced; meanwhile, the angle formed by the inner chord of the tangent plane of the root of the blade and the central axis of the propeller hub can be flexibly adjusted, so that the optimal hydrodynamic performance is achieved; according to the novel end plate propeller blade, the end plate is additionally arranged at the blade tip, so that backflow of a pressure surface at the blade tip to a suction surface is effectively reduced, energy loss of tip vortex of the propeller blade tip is reduced, and thrust output of the end plate propeller is improved; the folding type end plate propeller has the outstanding characteristics of being low in resistance, high in efficiency and strong in power, accurate positioning and multi-angle approaching observation of an underwater glider on a specific object are achieved, and meanwhile a stable track can be maintained in a strong ocean current environment.

    本发明公开了一种适用于水下滑翔机的折叠式端板螺旋桨,包括伞形折叠式桨毂机构、步进式螺距角调节机构、新型端板螺旋桨桨叶三大部分,实现螺旋桨在观察监测过程中展开从而控制水下滑翔机姿态,在正常滑翔过程中折叠从而减小受到的流体阻力;同时,可以灵活调节桨叶根部切面的内弦与桨毂中心轴线所构成的角度,以达到最佳水动力学性能;新型端板螺旋桨桨叶通过在叶尖处增加端板有效减小叶梢处压力面向吸力面的回流,降低螺旋桨叶尖梢涡的能量损失,提高端板螺旋桨的推力输出;本发明的折叠式端板螺旋桨整体以低阻力、高效率、强动力的突出特点,实现水下滑翔机对特定对象的精准定位和多角度抵近式观测,同时能够在强海流环境下维持稳定的航迹。
