The invention relates to a folding hang glider device of a large underwater platform and an operation method of a folding hang glider device, the folding hang glider device of the large underwater platform comprises an underwater platform, a plurality of driving assemblies are symmetrically installed in an interboard structure of the underwater platform, and each driving assembly structurally comprises a rotary driving motor fixed in the interboard structure, a connecting rod is installed on an output shaft of the rotary driving motor, a protruding key is arranged at the lower end of the head of the connecting rod, a rotating shaft is installed in the interboard structure located beside the rotating driving motor through a bearing device, a connecting rod is fixedly installed on the outer wall face of the middle of the rotating shaft, a key groove is formed in the middle of the connecting rod, and the protruding key extends into the key groove and slides in the key groove. The upper part of the rotating shaft extends out of the light shell of the underwater platform, and a hang glider framework is fixed on the outer wall surface above the rotating shaft; a longitudinal opening is reserved in the light shell of the underwater platform; a skin is mounted between every two adjacent hang glider frameworks; after being recycled, the hang glider is attached to the longitudinal opening to form an integrated shape, and work is flexible and reliable.
