The invention relates to a device (10) for changing the lateral guidance of a vehicle (1) designed for at least partially automated driving, the device comprising an accelerator pedal (11) and/or a brake pedal (12) and the device (10) being designed for changing the lateral guidance of a vehicle (1) designed for at least partially automated driving. During the operation of the vehicle (1) when the accelerator pedal (11) and/or the brake pedal (12) is actuated, an automated lateral guidance action of the vehicle is carried out, prevented or influenced as a function of a variable of the travel of the vehicle (1) which represents the degree of automation. The invention further relates to a corresponding method, in particular an operating method for the device (10), and to a corresponding computer program.
