The invention relates to the technical field of battery management, in particular to an energy conversion device and a vehicle. The energy conversion device comprises a motor, an electric controller, a power battery and a controller. The controller is configured to control all bridge arms corresponding to windings of the motor so that driving and battery self-heating are coordinated, and control at least two phases of bridge arms of the electric control so that the wave crest and the wave trough of actual N-line current flowing through an N line of the motor are counteracted with the wave crest and the wave trough of actual phase current flowing through each phase winding of the motor, and the amplitudes of the actual phase current of each phase winding at the wave crest and the wave trough are reduced. Therefore, the energy conversion device can provide larger phase current for the motor to drive the motor, so that the torque output by the motor is larger, and the power performance of the whole vehicle is improved. Moreover, the energy conversion device enables the phase current of the alternating-current motor to be more symmetrical and free of high and low waveforms, the alternating-current motor and electric control are more uniformly used, and a certain phase winding and a certain bridge arm group are prevented from being excessively used.
