The invention provides a road traffic carbon emission assessment method and a related device, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the real-time traffic information of a target region in a road network; the real-time traffic information at least comprises a real-time road condition image, a real-time vehicle image and real-time traffic flow information; adopting a vehicle emission evaluation model to perform emission evaluation on vehicles passing through the target area in real time based on the real-time road condition image and the real-time vehicle image so as to obtain vehicle carbon emission evaluation data of the target area; and inputting the vehicle carbon emission evaluation data and the real-time traffic flow information into a carbon emission dynamic evaluation network for dynamic evaluation processing to obtain the traffic carbon emission of the target area. According to the method, the traffic carbon emission can be automatically evaluated for the complex road condition structure of the target area, the accuracy of traffic carbon emission evaluation is greatly improved, and the evaluation efficiency is improved.
