The invention provides a forklift robot, and relates to the technical field of material carrying. The forklift robot comprises a forklift body, a pallet fork, a cargo bearing detection assembly, a scanning assembly, a forking detection assembly, a safety detection assembly, an obstacle detection assembly, a collision detection piece and a loading detection piece. When the forklift robot detects a to-be-carried object, or the obstacle detection assembly detects an obstacle, or the collision detection piece detects the to-be-carried object, or the loading detection piece detects the to-be-carried object, the forklift robot stops running, and the scanning assembly is used for scanning the environment where the forklift robot is located; the forking detection assembly is used for detecting the included angle between the forklift robot and the to-be-carried object. By arranging the multiple detection mechanisms, safety protection of all the operation processes of the forklift robot is achieved, and the operation safety of the forklift robot is guaranteed.
