The invention discloses a truss structure on-orbit construction system and method. The truss structure on-orbit construction system comprises a rod piece supply device, a rod piece welding platform and a truss assembling platform. The rod piece supply device, the rod piece welding platform and the truss assembling platform are all conveyed into the spacecraft through a carrier rocket. The rod piece supply device is used for supplying machinable rod pieces to the rod piece welding platform; the rod piece welding platform is used for machining and welding rod pieces into truss units and providing the truss units for the truss assembling platform. The truss assembling platform is used for assembling the truss units to realize on-orbit construction of the truss structure; the device can break through the limitation of rocket carrying envelope and capacity, realizes on-orbit autonomous construction of a large-scale high-rigidity space truss structure, and has the characteristics of small occupied volume during launching, high forming speed, low equipment power consumption and high structural rigidity.

    本发明公开了一种桁架结构在轨构建系统及构建方法,包括:杆件供给装置、杆件焊接平台和桁架组装平台;杆件供给装置、杆件焊接平台和桁架组装平台均通过运载火箭运送至航天器内;杆件供给装置用于向杆件焊接平台提供可加工的杆件;杆件焊接平台用于将杆件加工焊接成桁架单元,并提供给桁架组装平台;桁架组装平台用于对桁架单元进行组装,实现桁架结构的在轨构建;本发明能够突破火箭运载包络和能力的限制,实现大型高刚度空间桁架结构的在轨自主构建,具有发射时占用体积小、成型速度快、设备功耗小、结构刚度高的特点。
