The embodiment of the invention provides a vehicle operation control method and system based on driving environment change, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the current driving environment information of a vehicle, comparing the current driving environment information with the comparison environment information before the current time, and obtaining a driving environment change result; a corresponding transition strategy is generated according to the driving environment change result, and the vehicle is controlled to run in a transition period through the transition strategy in combination with surrounding vehicle scene information; according to the embodiment of the invention, when the driving scene changes, the transition strategy can be executed in time to keep the distance between the vehicle and the front and rear vehicles, the vehicle speed and vehicle steering correction, so that the driving safety is improved.
