The invention relates to a steering gear and a power-assisted steering system. The power assisting device comprises a shell, a transmission structure, a moving structure and a power assisting structure, and a mounting cavity is formed in the shell; the transmission structure is arranged on the shell in a blocking mode in the first direction and extends to the installation cavity. The transmission structure is connected with the steering wheel assembly. The moving structure is movably arranged in the mounting cavity and connected with the front axle assembly and the transmission structure, and the moving structure can move in the first direction under the driving of the transmission structure; the power assisting structure is arranged in the mounting cavity and is in signal linkage with the steering wheel assembly, and when the steering wheel assembly rotates and sends a steering signal, the power assisting structure receives the steering signal and then drives the moving structure to move in the first direction together with the transmission structure. The power assisting structure and the transmission structure are matched with each other, and the power assisting structure conducts power assisting driving on the moving structure. The power assisting structure is in signal connection with the steering wheel assembly, when the vehicle does not steer, the power assisting structure does not operate, the load on a vehicle battery can be effectively reduced, and the influence of a steering system on the endurance mileage is reduced.
