The invention discloses a vehicle control method and device for assisting a driver in passing through a road bayonet, and belongs to the technical field of vehicles. A specific embodiment of the method comprises the following steps: in response to an identified road checkpoint, identifying a first body feature of a vehicle driver and a riding feature of the driver on a driving seat so as to determine a farthest distance which can be reached by the driver; according to the vehicle design parameters, the corresponding window height when the main driving vehicle window is in the fully-open state is determined; identifying a target area to be reached by a driver corresponding to the gate, and determining a target position and a target height corresponding to the target area; and according to the farthest distance, the window height, the target position and the target height, the vehicle is controlled, so that the vehicle gets close to or away from the target area in the transverse dimension. According to the implementation mode, the situation that a driver needs to get up or get off to execute the operation required by the bayonet is avoided, meanwhile, vehicle tires are prevented from being scratched on the road shoulder of the bayonet channel, and therefore vehicle damage is reduced while operation of the driver is facilitated.

    本发明公开了一种辅助驾驶员通过道路卡口的车辆控制方法及装置,属于车辆技术领域。该方法的一具体实施方式包括:响应于识别到道路卡口,识别车辆驾驶员的第一身体特征以及驾驶员在驾驶座椅上的乘坐特征,以确定驾驶员可够及的最远距离;根据车辆设计参数,确定主驾车窗呈全打开状态时对应的窗高;识别卡口对应的驾驶员要够到的目标区域,并确定目标区域对应的目标位置和目标高度;根据最远距离、窗高、目标位置和目标高度,对车辆进行控制,以使车辆在横向维度上靠近或远离目标区域。该实施方式避免驾驶员需要起身或下车执行卡口要求的操作,同时避免了车辆轮胎在卡口通道路肩的剐蹭,因此在方便驾驶员操作的同时减少了车辆损伤。
