The control unit is configured to execute the following steps in winch lowering operation: determining a negative torque limit value allowing the closed hydraulic system to transmit to the transfer case based on the torque transmitted to the open hydraulic system by the transfer case during winch lowering, the torque transmitted to the cooling system by the transfer case, the standby loss torque of the power system and the target steady-state torque of the engine; determining an allowable displacement limit value of the closed pump based on the negative torque limit value; operation of the closed pump is controlled based on the displacement limit.
