The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for displaying the remaining charging time of a battery. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the current electric quantity of the battery at the current moment and the target charging electric quantity set by a user; determining the charging time required by the battery from the current electric quantity to the target charging electric quantity, and taking the charging time as the current theoretical residual charging time; determining the current display residual charging time of the battery based on the current theoretical residual charging time; and displaying the current display remaining charging time. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the charging experience of a user can be improved.
