Disclosed are a remaining battery charging time estimation method and apparatus. The method comprises: determining charge intervals (S102); estimating non end-of-charge charging times; estimating an end-of-charge time according to multiple stored historical end-of-charge times (S106); summing an early-charge time, a mid-charge time, a late-charge time, and the end-of-charge time to obtain a theoretical remaining charging time and displaying timing (S108); during a charging process, repeatedly performing the described steps S102-S108 at intervals of a preset time period, and correcting a displayed remaining charging time displayed in a current period according to the theoretical remaining charging time determined in the current period (S110); and when a current battery charge amount reaches a starting end of end-of-charge, using the end-of charge time as the displayed remaining charging time, and displaying a countdown until the battery charge amount reaches a target charge amount (S112). Accuracy of the estimated remaining charging time is improved by correcting a displayed battery initial remaining charging time by means of determining a battery theoretical remaining charging time in real time.
