The present invention relates to a degassing tank (1) comprising a first inlet (20) and a dip tube (4) extending between the first inlet (20) and a lower part (3) of the tank (1) in which the dip tube (4) is movable in use relative to the first inlet (20) between a first position in which the dip tube (4) is movable relative to the first inlet (20) and a second position in which the dip tube (4) is movable relative to the first inlet (20). The dip pipe (4) provides a fluid line between the first inlet (20) and the lower portion (3) of the tank (1), and a second position in which fluid communication between the first inlet (20) and the lower portion (3) of the tank (1) is closed.
