The invention discloses a rudder blade hoisting device and method.The rudder blade hoisting device comprises a bracket frame, an upper cover frame and a plurality of pressing plate assemblies; the bracket frame is used for placing a rudder blade; the upper cover frame is detachably connected with the bracket frame, and a plurality of lifting lugs are arranged at the top of the upper cover frame; part of the pressing plate assemblies are connected with the bottom and the four side faces of the bracket frame and used for supporting the bottom and the periphery of the rudder blade, and the other pressing plate assemblies are connected with the upper cover frame and used for supporting the top of the rudder blade. The bottom of the rudder blade is supported by the pressing plate assemblies connected with the bottom of the bracket frame, the periphery of the rudder blade is supported by the pressing plate assemblies connected with the four side faces of the bracket frame, the top of the rudder blade is supported by the pressing plate assemblies connected with the upper cover frame, the rudder blade is fixed in all directions, and then the rudder blade is hoisted through the lifting lugs at the top of the upper cover frame. And stable hoisting of the rudder blade is achieved, and stability and reliability are good.
