The amphibious underwater robot comprises a robot body, a walking mechanism, a floating mechanism and a robot arm, a controller is arranged in the robot body, and the amphibious underwater robot further comprises the walking mechanism, the floating mechanism and the robot arm; the walking mechanism comprises a crawler chassis arranged at the bottom of the machine body and a spiral propeller, and a first hydraulic oil cylinder is arranged between the crawler chassis and the machine body; the floating mechanism comprises a fixed drainage tank, a first compressed air cylinder and a safety air bag, and a fixed valve is arranged at the joint of the fixed drainage tank and the air pipe; the arm is arranged at the top of the front end of the body, one end of the arm is rotatably connected with a bucket rod, and one end of the bucket rod is movably connected with a rock breaking mechanism. The crawler chassis used for driving and moving on the hard road surface and the spiral propeller used for driving and moving in fluid and semi-fluid environments are arranged at the bottom of the robot body, and the crawler chassis is pushed out and drawn in through the first hydraulic oil cylinder, so that the robot can switch the advancing modes according to different environments; therefore, the robot adapts to different engineering operation environments, and the practicability of the robot is improved.
