The processing circuit (210) further determines, for the plurality of positions, respective second probability metrics (155a-155c) that the at least one traffic object (151) will be in the respective position at the one or more future times based on motion state information of the at least one traffic object (151), and based on the respective first probability metrics (145a-145b) and the respective second probability metrics (155a-155c), determining, for the plurality of positions, respective combined probability metrics (165a) that the vehicle (141) and the at least one traffic object (151) will be in the respective positions at the one or more future times. Furthermore, the processing circuit is configured to assist the control system and/or the driver of the vehicle (141) based on the plurality of combined probability metrics (165a). Furthermore, a corresponding method, a vehicle comprising the device (200) and a cloud server implementation of the device (200) are disclosed.
