The invention discloses a liquid cargo tank insulation layer pressure difference monitoring system for an LNG ship containment system, the system comprises a pressure difference monitoring module, a pressure difference balance module and a control module, the pressure difference monitoring module and the pressure difference balance module are respectively connected with the control module, the pressure difference monitoring module comprises a pressure difference sensor and a pressure hose, and the pressure hose is connected with the pressure difference sensor. The differential pressure sensor is respectively connected with a main insulating layer outlet and a secondary insulating layer outlet of the liquid cargo tank through pressure hoses, and the differential pressure sensor is connected with the control module; the differential pressure balance module comprises an electromagnetic valve and a communicating pipe, the communicating pipe is connected with a main layer insulating layer outlet and a secondary layer insulating layer outlet of the liquid cargo tank, the electromagnetic valve is arranged on the communicating pipe, and the electromagnetic valve is connected with the control module. According to the system, real-time monitoring of the pressure difference of the insulating layers of the liquid cargo tank is achieved through the pressure difference monitoring system, pressure balance is automatically conducted when the pressure difference between the main insulating layer and the secondary insulating layer exceeds a set value, and the explosion risk of the insulating layers is reduced.
