The separated topographic survey assembly comprises a limiting top cover piece, a topographic survey piece and an adjusting base; an annular driving piece is fixedly arranged on the periphery of the topographic surveying piece in a sleeving mode, a plurality of unit moving adjusting pieces are connected to the annular driving piece in a power transmission mode, and impellers installed on the unit moving adjusting pieces locally are used for exerting force to push the topographic surveying piece forwards. The method is used for ensuring that a topographic surveying piece can horizontally measure coordinate information on a complex landform where the topographic surveying piece cannot be horizontally placed.
