The invention provides a vehicle braking control method and system, a vehicle control unit, a vehicle and a storage medium, and relates to the field of vehicle control. The method comprises the steps that whole vehicle state signals are obtained, and the whole vehicle state signals comprise a vehicle speed signal, a brake pedal signal, an atmospheric pressure signal and a brake air cylinder pressure signal; determining a control mode of the vehicle according to the validity of the whole vehicle state signal; and controlling a braking system based on the control mode of the vehicle and at least part of the whole vehicle state signals. Vehicle braking is controlled by combining the control mode of the vehicle, the vehicle speed signal, the brake pedal signal, the atmospheric pressure signal, the brake air cylinder pressure signal and the like, and optimization of energy conservation and safety of vehicle braking can be achieved.
