The invention provides an elevator online fault diagnosis system and method based on data analysis, and relates to the field of elevator fault diagnosis. An elevator online fault diagnosis method based on data analysis comprises the following steps that an elevator is adjusted to be in an ideal running state, the center position of a door fixing ball of a door system of the elevator is scanned, datum points are obtained and connected, and a datum line is obtained; transverse displacement and longitudinal displacement generated when the elevator runs are detected; drawing a fixed door ball offset graph according to the datum line, the transverse displacement and the longitudinal displacement; when the running speed of the elevator is zero, the moving track of the movable door ball and the moving track of the fixed door ball are obtained; drawing a moving track diagram; and analyzing the moving track diagram and the fixed door ball offset diagram according to the existing fault features to obtain the elevator running state. The elevator running state can be monitored in real time, the data report can be generated, the efficient and direct detection method is provided, and more targeted suggestions can be provided for later maintenance.
