The invention relates to the technical field of robots, in particular to a cross-wall multi-mode wall-climbing robot which comprises a rack and a climbing assembly mounted on the rack. The crawling assembly comprises a roller and a grabbing assembly installed on the roller, the roller is rotationally connected with the rack, the grabbing assembly comprises a first driving part, an adjusting wheel, a plurality of grabbing accessories and a plurality of elastic elements, the grabbing accessories are slidably connected with the roller and distributed at intervals in the circumferential direction of the roller, one end of each elastic element is connected with the corresponding grabbing accessory, and the other end of each elastic element is connected with the roller. The periphery of the adjusting wheel makes contact with the grabbing accessory, the first driving piece is installed on the rolling wheel, the output end of the first driving piece is in transmission connection with the adjusting wheel, and the friction force between the robot and the crawling wall face is increased through the grabbing accessory which can circularly reciprocate and radially stretch out to make contact with the crawling wall face, so that stable advancing of the robot is guaranteed, and slipping of the robot is avoided; and when not used, the grabbing piece can be in a storage state, and the advancing efficiency of the robot is prevented from being affected.
