The invention provides an electric commercial vehicle power control system and method, and relates to the technical field of electric commercial vehicle power control, the system comprises a whole vehicle DCDC converter, a low-voltage power control circuit and a high-voltage power supply circuit, the whole vehicle DCDC converter is connected with the low-voltage power control circuit, and the high-voltage power supply circuit is connected with the whole vehicle DCDC converter. The whole vehicle DCDC converter is activated in a negative control mode after a control signal of the whole vehicle DCDC converter is grounded, the power-on and power-off states and the charging function of the whole vehicle are controlled by driving gear switching of the low-voltage power control circuit, the high-voltage power supply circuit is connected with the whole vehicle DCDC converter in parallel, and the high-voltage power supply circuit supplies high voltage to the whole vehicle DCDC converter. A low-voltage storage battery for starting is omitted, and the power control efficiency of the whole vehicle is improved by reducing the cost of the whole vehicle and the power shortage failure rate of the low-voltage storage battery.
