The method comprises the steps that according to a received automatic parking instruction, a vehicle is controlled to do deceleration motion until the speed is reduced to a first preset speed; based on the first preset speed, the current parking distance from the designated parking position and the second preset speed, target deceleration is obtained through calculation; in response to the situation that the current deceleration is smaller than the target deceleration, controlling the vehicle to gradually increase the deceleration until the speed is reduced to a second preset speed; controlling the vehicle to maintain the actual deceleration when the speed is reduced to the second preset speed and continuously decelerate until the speed is reduced to a third preset speed; and controlling the vehicle to gradually reduce the deceleration until the vehicle is static at the specified parking position. By applying the method, the riding somatosensory comfort of passengers in the automatic parking process can be improved.
