The invention provides a charging vehicle battery thermal runaway early warning system and method, and belongs to the field of electric automobiles, and the system comprises a data collection module which is used for sensing whether a vehicle is driven into a parking space or not in real time, and collecting sound information and gas information when the vehicle is driven into the parking space; the local analysis module is used for judging whether the gas released by the charging vehicle is abnormal or not according to the gas information, and if yes, an alarm is given; filtering the sound information to obtain target sound information, preliminarily comparing the target sound information with the abnormal sound information, and giving an alarm when the target sound information is abnormal; and the cloud analysis module is used for further comparing the target sound information by adopting a deep learning model, and giving an alarm and cutting off a charging power supply when the target sound information is abnormal. According to the method, the thermal runaway of the battery of the charging vehicle can be automatically warned in advance, and the response speed and the safety of the charging station are improved.
